Why Mama Jen?
Jen’s memorable recipes come from all over the world, many of them collected personally. Working as a communication adviser from Indonesia to West Africa, Jen would often relax by swapping traditional recipes in the kitchens of local friends. She’s also volunteered in the Philippines and Lombok as a “disaster chef”, working with a mixed nationality team to cook daily meals for thousands of locals displaced by typhoons and earthquakes. And many a time, she’s cooked for 50 or more ex-pat workers who desperately needed a meal that felt like home. So there’s a story behind many of her recipes and Jen loves to share them with you.

Full of enthusiasm for your event, we bring everything to you, staying to make sure the dishes are presented well, taste exactly as they should and - like Goldilocks’ porridge - are not too hot, not too cold, but just right!

When we say ‘service’, we mean it! We are with you all the way, from an initial meeting where you choose your perfect menu, to a spick and span kitchen when your event is finished. If you like, we can also return next day to help get your house spick and span again.
